Novalac AC

Novalac AC is a powdered food for special medical requirements indicated for the dietetic management of infants from 0 to 36 months with gastrointestinal symptoms caused by a reduced tolerance to lactose (flatulence, bloating and abdominal pain). Compared to the standard formula, Novalac AC contains a reduced content of lactose to limit fermentation in the large intestine.

Novalac AC is reconstituted at 13%: 1 level and not compressed measuring spoon (4.3 g) for every 30 ml of water. Only use the measuring spoon provided with the product. The number of meals must be planned according to the doctor’s advice. Only use under medical supervision and only in children suffering from the disorder for which the product is indicated.

Warnings

Do not use after the date indicated on the bottom of the container. Completely remove the metal foil before the first opening. After opening, use the product within 3 weeks. Close the container with the plastic lid after using. Store in a cool dry place, away from the light and contamination. Do not prepare the bottle in advance but always just before the feed. Every meal must be consumed within one hour after being prepared. The product must not be reused when it remains in the bottle after feeding. Throw away any remaining formula. Do not use the bottle like a pacifier. Do not add sugar. The product is not suitable for tube feeding nor for parenteral administration.
